The short version

Sheetfold does not see your files. When you make, merge or split a PDF, the work is done by your own web browser on your own device. Your files are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot view, keep or recover them.

We don't use cookies, advertising, trackers or analytics, and there is no account to sign up for.

Who we are

Sheetfold is run by Renan Rasim, based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). For anything about this policy or your data, email sheetfold.help@gmail.com.

What data is involved

• Your files. Processed only inside your browser. They never reach our servers. When you close or refresh the page, they are gone from Sheetfold.
• Basic web request data. Like every website, when your browser loads Sheetfold our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use it to identify you and we have not switched on any visitor analytics.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and delete it when it's no longer needed (normally within 12 months).

Legal basis

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we rely on our legitimate interests to run a secure website and to answer messages you choose to send us.

Who else is involved

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and acts as our processor. Cloudflare may process request data outside the UK, protected by its data processing terms and approved transfer safeguards. Emails are handled through Google (Gmail). We don't sell or share personal data with anyone else.

Cookies

Sheetfold sets no cookies and uses no local storage. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in rare cases (for example, to check a visitor isn't a bot); this does not track you across sites.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Sheetfold doesn't collect personal data through the tools, so it's safe to use at any age. We don't knowingly receive emails from children under 13 without a parent's involvement.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
